Our Judges
Julie Seabaugh is a documentarian and author who chronicles the world of stand-up comedy. With Nick Scown she directed September 2021 feature documentary Too Soon: Comedy After 9/11 for Vice. She is creator, producer, and story editor of Are We Good?, a SXSW and Tribeca documentary on Marc Maron in theaters October 2025.
Joshua Sandoval is the Director of Programming for Just For Laughs, in addition to serving as the Talent Booker at The Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, CA. Previously he was the Booker for Netflix is a Joke Comedy Festival where he established the “Introducing” series.
Sandoval also has developed scripted and unscripted projects with an array of comedians including Ken Jeong, Taylor Tomlinson, and Matt Rife.
Additionally, he has produced TV shows for all the major networks and streamers including shows like America’s Got Talent, The Challenge, Star Search, and Hot Ones.
Christopher Burns is a Senior Talent Buyer at Live Nation Comedy who’s artist roster includes the talents of Josh Johnson, Deon Cole, Mojo Brookzz, Becky Robinson, etc. He is a 16 year veteran booker in stand-up comedy whose first shows date back to his time managing The World Famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles back in 2010-2014.

Naela Durrani, Talent Manager for Mic Drop Management Group, is an experienced Casting Producer, and a passionate advocate for performers and creatives. With a diverse background in casting, talent relations, and production, Naela has built a career centered around discovering, supporting, and elevating talent—both on and off stage.
Nohemy Benitez-Stanya and is a Talent Manager for Mic Drop Management Group. She has worked in comedy for 11 years and has been with the Mic Drop Team for 3 years. Aside from managing, Nohemy wears multiple hats in the company including being the District Manager, Payroll Manager and Club Manager, (Yes, it’s a lot but she loves it).
